ST-RAPHAËL RESIDENCE

The origins of the Maison St-Raphaël project date back to 2008. Following the closure of St-Raphael Church on Lajoie Avenue in Montreal, the Archdiocese of Montreal agreed to repurpose this magnificent church property to the community, as a humanitarian gesture to the community at large.
After the study and analysis of community needs the conclusion was made that the sector needed a palliative care home and day center. This is how the Maison St-Raphaël was born. Once in operation the institution will welcome, with respect and compassion, people of all origins, regardless of their social condition, ethnic origin or religious beliefs.
