The Dickson Yard Lot 2 project is annexed to the incinerator of the same name currently on site and out of service. This mandate required impeccable coordination with related disciplines and city representatives, as well as a clear understanding of logistics.

The service courtyard had to integrate with the infrastructure of Lot 1 and provide a safe, user-friendly space for workers and visitors alike. The design strategy had to focus on efficient circulation between uses, modes of transport and structures, with appropriate signage and a legible layout. One of the challenges was also to include several zones with distinct vocations, all with their own dimensions, clearances imperative to the coherence of the space, within a limited surface area. Working in partnership with all the players involved in the project, the team was able to deliver a project that met all the specific constraints associated with this type of development, thanks to a genuine understanding of the issues and constant listening and coordination.
